HISTORY OF THE BRITISH CEMETERY

Initially it was plot of land in Zipaquira, then exchanged for another plot in San Victorino, and finally the British Cemetery opened on the east of the Central Cemetery in Bogota where it is located nowadays.
The British Cemetery is managed by the British community under the honorary presidency of the British Ambassador in Colombia.
Graves dated 1830 onwards belonging to British citizens, relatives with links and members of the British association can be found at the British Cemetery.
